Many of our products require advance ordering due to our long-fermentation process and small-batch production. Each product listing indicates its specific lead time requirements. Orders must be placed within the specified timeframes to ensure availability.

Availability Windows

Products are available for pickup during designated availability windows, which are clearly displayed at checkout. You must select a pickup time that works for your schedule. We are unable to hold products beyond the selected pickup window unless prior arrangements have been made.

Order Confirmation

Your order is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and our confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders for any reason, including product unavailability or suspected fraudulent activity.

All orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase. We accept major credit cards and debit cards through our secure payment processor. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and do not include applicable sales tax, which will be added at checkout.

While we strive for accuracy, pricing errors may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and will notify you if the correct price differs from what was displayed at the time of order.

Due to the nature of our small-batch production and ingredient preparation, cancellations must be requested at least 48 hours before your scheduled pickup time for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of pickup may be subject to a partial refund or store credit at our discretion.

No-Show Policy

If you do not pick up your order within 30 minutes of your selected pickup window without prior communication, your items may be forfeited. We understand life happens—please contact us as soon as possible if you anticipate a delay.

Quality Concerns

We take pride in the quality of our baked goods. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup with photos and a description of the issue. We will work with you to make it right through replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion.

Our kitchen processes wheat, eggs, dairy, nuts, and other common allergens. While we take precautions to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free of allergens. All allergen information is provided to the best of our knowledge, but customers with severe allergies should exercise caution.

Ingredient Transparency

We are committed to using quality, recognizable ingredients. Ingredient lists are available upon request for all products. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions when placing your order.

Food Safety

To ensure food safety, please refrigerate or freeze products promptly after pickup according to the storage instructions provided. Consumption of raw or undercooked ingredients is at your own risk.

Family Kneads operates as a Cottage Food Operation in accordance with Texas state law. This means:

• Our products are made in a home kitchen that is not subject to state health department inspection.

• Our foods are not intended for resale.

• We maintain the required food handler certifications and comply with all applicable cottage food regulations.

By purchasing our products, you acknowledge understanding that these items are produced in a home kitchen environment.

Custom orders and special requests are welcome and subject to availability. A deposit may be required for large or custom orders. All custom order details must be confirmed in writing (via email or our order system) no later than one week before the requested pickup date.

Design and decoration requests will be executed to match your vision as closely as possible. However, handmade items inherently have unique variations, and we cannot guarantee exact replication of reference images.

All content on our website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, product descriptions, and recipes, is the property of Family Kneads and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written consent. This includes sharing our recipes, product photos, or written content on other platforms without attribution and permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Family Kneads shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or services. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

We are not responsible for delays or failures to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, or government restrictions.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Kendall County, Texas.
